Technical description of the push button switches, series FK 310, FK 320, FK 610, FK 620, FK 630, FK 810

Function:  The functions of the series FK… two pole push button switches are the operation of the garden machine and apparatus, electrical machine and similar characteristic appliances.

Protection against electric shock: Suitable for class II appliances.

Mounting:  The switch shall be secured in an appropiate place within the enclosure of appliance designed by the appliance manufacturer where the protection against electric shock is ensured by the parts of the enclosure.

Protection: min. IP 40 after mounting.

Type versions:

FK 310: without push-bar, for load 3 A, four srewless terminals

FK 320: without push-bar for load 3 A, two srewless terminals and two srew type terminals

FK 610: small black push-bar (11 x 20 mm),  two srewless terminals and two srew type terminals

FK 620: small orange push-bar (11 x 20 mm),  for load 3 A, two srewless terminals and two srew type terminals

Electrical connections: The  FK 310 and FK 810  type  switches  have 4 terminals with screwless terminals,   the   FK 320, FK610, FK 620 and FK 630 type switches have 2 srew type terminals and 2 screwless terminals.

Flexible conductors can only be connected to the screwless terminals by using conductor end sleeves. The connections can be established by inserting the conductors into a min. 8 mm deep hole on the side of the switch. After connecting the springclamping will be self-locking. The disconnection of conductors is possible  by lifting the clamping spring with a tool (e.g.: srewdriver with max. 3 mm blade) throught the openings on the lower cover plate of the switch. The srewless terminals are suitable to connect two conductors per terminals. The srew type terminals are suitable for one conductor per terminal without special preparation.

The connection of the conductors to the switch is to be made before placing the swith into the appliance and the disconnection is possible when the switch is removed.

Connection wire:

FK 310, Fk 320          0,5 - 0,75 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire,

FK 610, FK 620, FK 630        0,5 - 1,0 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire

FK 810            0,7 - 1,5 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire

·                    In case of connecting to screwless terminals: insulated flexible wire with conductor end sleves.

·                    In case of connecting to screw-type  terminals: the wire suitable without preparation.

Electrical rating and electrical life, adequate EN 61058-1 standard:
